WASHINGTON, DC – Earlier this week, Congressman Sam Graves, joined by Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Director Patrick McKenna and Missouri Highways and Transportation Commissioners John Briscoe, Gregg Smith, Tom Waters, Terry Ecker, and Dustin Boatright, toured two bridge sites on Lewis County Highway E—one under construction over Sugar Creek and another set to begin construction in July over Derrahs Branch.

The legislation updates FEMA’s small project threshold to allow more projects—particularly in small rural communities—to move forward under a simplified approval process.
