Congressional Art Competition

Each year, my colleagues and I in the House of Representatives participate in a nation-wide high school arts competition sponsored by the Congressional Institute.

The Congressional Art Competition is a way to recognize the talent of young artists here in the Sixth Congressional District of Missouri and across the nation.

This competition is open to all high school students, and we will select one winner to represent the Sixth District. The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol with art from all participating districts around the country. This is truly a spectacular exhibit, one that I encourage all to come see if you are ever in Washington.

For submissions, a high-quality digital photograph of the artwork, along with a form filled out by the student should be emailed to artcontest.mo06@mail.house.gov by Friday, April 29th, 2022 at 5 pm. If you had planned to mail or deliver your students’ artwork to the Kansas City office, please contact Wyatt Mullendore at 816-792-3976 or Wyatt.Mullendore@mail.house.gov.

I look forward to seeing all of the submissions!
