WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Sam Graves (MO-06), has announced that three airports in North Missouri will receive federal money through the Airport Improvement Program. Graves received notification today from U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao that rural airports in Bowling Green, Memphis and Tarkio will be receiving money to make a variety of improvements including runway rehabilitation and apron construction.

For some, the recovery process is just starting to begin—others are still waiting for the floodwaters to recede. Ultimately, this is going to be a long rebuilding process. Right now, we are still working to make sure those affected by flooding receive the resources needed to rebuild. It is my hope that we learn from this disaster and make the changes necessary to put families, farms, and communities first when it comes to managing the Missouri River.
WASHINGTON – Today, the entire Missouri congressional delegation, including U.S. Senators Roy Blunt and Josh Hawley, and U.S. Representatives Sam Graves, Emanuel Cleaver, II, Vicky Hartzler, Blaine Luetkemeyer, Ann Wagner, Wm. Lacy Clay, Billy Long, and Jason Smith sent a letter to President Trump supporting Governor Mike Parson's request for a disaster declaration for 13 counties impacted by severe flooding. The disaster declaration is a necessary step for these counties to be able to access federal resources for recovery efforts.
