HANNIBAL, MO. – Douglass Community Services, Inc. (DCS) has received a new grant of more than $240,000 to support their Foster Grandparent program, Congressman Sam Graves announced today. The funding is provided by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency that administers Senior Corps and will support Foster Grandparent volunteers serving in Clark, Lewis, Marion, Ralls, Pike, and Monroe Counties.

Kansas City, MO – On Thursday, May 10th, students who participated in the annual Congressional Art Competition hosted by Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06) gathered at a reception, where the winners for the 6th Congressional District competition were announced. At the gathering, which was held at Graves' district office in Kansas City, several young artists were recognized for their work.

Kansas City, MO – Earlier today, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced that he was appointing 6th Congressional District resident Richard Fordyce of Bethany, MO to serve as Administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA). Fordyce will lead a network of over 2,100 county and 50 state FSA offices. He currently serves as State Executive Director for FSA in Missouri.
