WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Sam Graves (MO-06), has announced that three airports in North Missouri will receive federal money through the Airport Improvement Program. Graves received notification today from U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao that rural airports in Bowling Green, Memphis and Tarkio will be receiving money to make a variety of improvements including runway rehabilitation and apron construction.

WASHINGTON, DC – North Missouri Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06) introduced a bill this week to remove fish and wildlife as an authorized purpose for management of the Missouri River and make flood control the highest priority.
"Time and again, we continue to see fish and birds take precedence over people and property when it comes to managing the Missouri River," Graves said.
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06) sent a letter today to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requesting a delay of the deadline for the filing of tax returns or a delay of the late filing penalty for those affected by recent flooding on the Missouri River.
Graves sent the letter after talking with local tax preparers who informed him that their clients affected by the recent flooding could not get a disaster-related tax filing extension due to the lack of a federal disaster declaration.
