Graves Successfully Pushes for Stripping Red Flag Law Provisions from FY2022 NDAA
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06) released the following statement after successfully pushing conferees to strip Red Flag law provisions from the FY2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
“Red flag laws have no business being in the National Defense Authorization Act. This bill is supposed to be about funding our military and supporting our troops, not stripping law-abiding military members of their Second Amendment rights without so much as a hearing. I’m glad we were able to get this poison pill stripped from this extremely important legislation.”
In September, Graves joined 158 Republicans in demanding conferees strip a red flag law provision included in the FY22 NDAA. You can view their letter here.
