Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) are lead sponsors on legislation that would clarify congressional intent regarding the Agriculture Hours-of-Service (AgHOS) regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).?

(Liberty) U.S. Congressman Sam Graves is seeking submissions for "An Artistic Discovery", the annual Congressional High School Art Competition.

The competition is a yearly event held in each of the 435 Congressional Districts, including the Sixth District of Missouri. It highlights the importance of art education by recognizing outstanding talented young artists in each district. The winning entries are exhibited for a year in the United States Capitol Building.

WASHINGTON— House Small Business Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) today held a full committee hearing to examine the impact on small businesses that may result from LightSquared's use of its spectrum to provide broadband service near the Global Positioning System (GPS). Small businesses, including farmers, construction contractors, surveyors, and the general aviation industry, rely on the accuracy of GPS. Potential interference with GPS raises significant concerns to these small companies.

(Washington D.C.) - U.S. Congressman Sam Graves today introduced legislation to extend and expand the teacher tax deduction for teachers who purchase classroom supplies for their students with their own money. Graves proposes extending the tax deduction to 2017 and increasing the amount deductable for full-time teachers from $250 to $500. It would also create a new tax deduction of $250 for part-time teachers.
