Urges Obama Administration to forego signing treaty
WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06) today voted to strengthen the nation's student loan programs. With Graves' support, the House passed the Smarter Solutions for Students Act (H.R. 1911), which would move all Federal student loans, minus Perkins loans, to a market-based interest rate. This would alleviate the need for Congress to act each year when it comes to determining interest rates.
WASHINGTON, D.C.– Less than a week before the nation celebrates Memorial Day, the U.S. House of Representatives today passed several measures aimed at assisting America's veterans. Congressman Sam Graves (R-MO) supported all three bills.

In decades past, barges would go up and down the Missouri River all the time. It was a common sight, and it made good economic sense for the towns along the river. Now, barge traffic has become increasingly rare.

Representatives from Clark, Lewis, Marion, Ralls, and Pike counties, including Clarksville mayor Jo Anne Smiley, assessed current damage estimates in their regions and discussed their ongoing efforts to shield local communities, businesses, and farmland from additional flooding.
