Sam Graves Welcomes New Jobs to the Kansas City Metro Area

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Sam Graves (MO-06), House Small Business Committee Chairman, today made the following statement as the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant announced the hiring of 1,200 new full-time employees.

"I am pleased by the recent announcement that Ford Motor Company is adding 1,200 new jobs to its Kansas City Assembly Plant," said Rep. Graves. "This further proves that the Kansas City Metro area is second to none when it comes to places to work and do business," he continued. "The private sector investments made by Ford and all involved are exactly what is needed to create jobs and get our economy moving again. Each new job created in Missouri's 6th District is a step in the right direction."
