Sam Graves Votes In Favor Of Keystone XL Pipeline

WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressman Sam Graves made the following statement after voting in favor of legislation to build the Keystone XL Pipeline, which passed with bipartisan support.

"The American people sent a clear message this past November in favor of the Keystone XL Pipeline," said Rep. Graves. "Today, the House has once again acted on their behalf and passed legislation to begin construction on the Keystone Pipeline," he continued. "This project will create good-paying American jobs and lower energy costs for small businesses and hardworking Americans."

"I am confident that the new Republican majority in the Senate will act to pass this bill and send to the President's desk. After nearly six years of dragging his feet, it is time for President Obama to stop playing politics with our energy policy and allow construction to go forward."
