Sam Graves Honors America's Educators During Teacher Appreciation Week

May 5, 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Sam Graves helped the country celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day from the U.S. Capitol this week. Congressman Graves recently wrote and introduced H.Res. 704, a resolution honoring Teacher Appreciation Week, which runs from May 2 to May 6.

"Almost everyone has had a teacher leave a lasting impact on their life," Rep. Graves said. "So many teachers in this country work tirelessly to educate our kids and prepare them to be happy, productive and successful citizens, but many are asked to do even more. We remember that especially during Teacher Appreciation Week, but it's something we have to really value every other day of the year too."
