Graves Votes Against Pelosi "Budget"

Washington, DC – Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06) released the following statement after voting against the FY 2021 Budget Reconciliation Resolution, H. Con. Res. 11.

"Instead of working in unity to move our country forward, the majority is attempting to ram their radical agenda down the throats of hardworking Americans," said Graves. "Their ‘stimulus plan' is nothing more than a wasteful, misguided attempt to bail out states that have shut down small businesses while making it harder for our economy to bounce back. If this was such a crisis, the Biden Administration would be working harder to distribute the $1 trillion in COVID-19 relief that Congress has already approved and not yet been put into action—including aid for farmers that the Biden Administration froze without any real justification."
