Graves' Statement on Supreme Court Ruling to Block Obama’s Amnesty Executive Order
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Sam Graves issued the following statement after the Supreme Court today ruled that President Obama's 2014 executive order on amnesty is unconstitutional. The ruling confirms that the Obama administration does not have the authority to prevent four million illegal immigrants from being deported.
"This ruling is a win for the Constitution and the rule of law," Rep. Graves said. "But it's also a win for American workers and everyone who earned their citizenship in this country the right way. These are the people who are most affected by amnesty and illegal immigration, and I'm glad the President's push to hand out citizenship to four million illegal immigrants was blocked by the Supreme Court."
