Graves Statement on Passage of House Budget Resolution

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06) released the following statement after voting for the FY25 Budget Resolution:

“We just passed the first step in implementing President Trump’s agenda to cut wasteful spending, secure our border, defend our country, and give working Americans much-needed tax relief,” said Graves. “President Biden’s wasteful spending, out-of-control regulations, and radical open border policies have dramatically raised the cost of living for American families and made our communities less safe. To get our country back on track and fight inflation, we have to start at the source, stop all the waste, fraud, and abuse of our tax dollars, finish the wall, enforce our immigration laws, and secure our border. This budget resolution is the first step in fulfilling those promises.”
