Graves Secures Funding for Harrison County Water Project
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Sam Graves announced today that he secured $3,307,000 for the Harrison County PWSD #2 in the appropriations bill signed into law earlier this month. “It’s critical that our rural counties have access to water,” Rep. Sam Graves said. “Harrison County PWSD #2 continues to increase the number of customers they serve and are desperately in need of additional water sources. I’m thrilled to be able to get them this much-needed funding to serve Northwest Missouri with clean, safe drinking water.” Harrison County PWSD #2 plans to utilize the funding to drill two new water supply wells and add ten miles of transmission line to provide additional water for 6 towns, two counties and three water supply districts. |
