It's hard to believe, but 2017 is already one quarter of the way over.
That means winter's gone (hopefully), baseball's here, and tax day is coming. With April 15 now less than two weeks away, I've been working to fulfill House Republicans' goal of reinventing our tax system by lowering rates, simplifying the tax code, and ensuring we have the money we need to invest in America's transportation infrastructure.
That is a cause I truly believe will help everyone in this country - keeping everyone and everything moving as safely and efficiently as possible - and ensuring our businesses can continue competing in a crowded global economy.
But this is just one of many priorities in Washington. In order to do my job effectively, I need to hear from you. Please take a minute to follow this link and fill out my official 2017 Survey.
I will continue working to repeal and replace Obamacare, to stop illegal immigration, roll back job-killing Obama-era EPA regulations, and ensure our military remains the strongest in the world. But I need to know what's important to everyone in north Missouri so I can represent our communities in the best way possible.
