Reps. Graves, Loebsack Introduce Resolution Honoring America's Teachers
WASHINGTON D.C. — Today, Representative Sam Graves (MO-06) and Representative Dave Loebsack (IA-02), introduced a resolution in Congress to honor teachers. H. Res. 363 recognizes the contributions of America’s teachers to buildingand enhancing the Nation’s civic, cultural, and economic well-being.
National Teacher Appreciation Week runs May 6th through May 10th this year.
“We all owe a debt of gratitude to teachers everywhere,” said Congressman Graves. “Our teachers have a meaningful and lasting impact on our lives. They continually go above and beyond to help students become upstanding citizens. Teacher Appreciation Week is a great opportunity to recognize the vital role that teachers fulfill in our country.”
