GRAVES JOINS PRESIDENT TRUMP IN MISSOURI TO DISSCUSS TAX REFORM
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO6.), former Chairman of the House Small Business Committee, along with other members of the Missouri delegation, joined President Donald Trump, in St. Charles, Missouri to meet with local small businesses and to highlight the importance of tax reform.
Missouri has suffered tremendously due to our out-of-date tax system and this trip provided a unique opportunity for President Trump to see first-hand the positive effects that meaningful tax reform will have on family-owned businesses in Missouri and throughout the United States,” said Graves.
“The number one concern among small business owners that I’ve spoken with in Missouri is the harm caused to them by our costly and complex tax code. The current code simply stacks the odds against them when it comes to cost, compliance, and filing. The House Republican tax bill will ease the compliance and tax burdens small businesses will face and ensure that they are allowed to grow, create jobs, and build a stronger economy.”
“During our trip, President Trump and I saw and heard the necessity of making sure that tax reform becomes a reality and I look forward to joining him and bringing much-needed relief to small business owners across the country.”
